GUN TAP HSSE METRIC – Intermediate
Spiral point gun taps are ideal for machine tapping through holes or blind holes with adequate bottom clearance. Called “Gun Taps” because they shoot the chips ahead of the tap. This also reduces clogging in the flutes.
General purpose use
Suitable for materials up to 1000N/mm2
